The Chow Chow is an old Chinese breed that dates back to at least 200 B.C. Chow Chows, or Chows for short, are most recognizable for there thick fluffy coat and their blue black tongue. They are also known for their stubbornness and difficulty to train. However, with diligence they can become a great family member, that is very loyal, protective and affectionate.
